Universal Pictures has released a new promo trailer for the upcoming animated sequel “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish”, which comes to cinemas on December 21st.
The 40-second video pokes fun at ASMR content seen on platforms like Twitch as the sexy sounds of Antonio Banderas’s voice are mixed with powerful ear-pleasing ASMR before it all gets ruined by Harvey Guillen’s clumsy Perro.
ASMR stands for “Autonomous sensory meridian response” and is a term used to describe the tingling static-like sensation in response to triggering audio stimulation.
In this new sequel, Puss in Boots discovers he has burned through eight of his nine lives and, left with only one life left sets out on a journey to find the mythical “Last Wish” to restore his nine lives.
The star-studded cast also includes Salma Hayek, Florence Pugh, Jack Horner, John Mulaney, Wagner Moura, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, Anthony Mendez, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph and is being co-directed by Joel Crawford and Januel Mercado.
