The Tasmanian Masters Games has been postponed until March next year.

The nine-day multi-sport event was due to be held next month on the North-West Coast and the North of the State, but a lack of entries has forced organisers to change the date to March 1-10 next year.

Games president Steve Martin says the decision was a difficult one to make, but organisers are hopeful the new date will be more suitable for more potential competitors.
