One of the North-West Coast’s premium tourist attractions, the Don River Railway will celebrate its 50th anniversary over three days on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with rail enthusiasts from all over the state expected to flock to the event.

But it’s not just the largely volunteer members of the Don River Railway who will be celebrating, with other Tasmanian rail groups to play a part, making it the largest collaborations of railway locomotives in Tasmania.
