Devonport’s new $60 million sports precinct is a step closer, with a development application lodged for the project.
The precinct, adjacent to the Devonport Oval includes a major 2000-seat four-court indoor stadium, high performance training facilities, outdoor and indoor netball courts, multi-club administration and function facilities and 247 car-parking spaces.
The project has received $25 million from both State and Federal Governments, with the Devonport City Council tipping in $10 million as well.

The development application and plans are open for public comment until October 11th.
