Work has started on improving access to beach at Sulphure Creek between Preservation Bay and Midway Point.
In a post on its Facebook page, the Central Coast Council says the upgrades, which will provide safer and easier access for everyone will include a new pedestrian beach access ramp at Midway Point, including a 50-metre walkway for inclusive and easy access.
The Preservation Bay beach access will be closed during construction, while the Midway Point Beach existing access will remain open.
The council says there will also be some minor disruptions to Midway Point Campground Parking.
The overall project is expected to be completed by May.
There’s more details, including a plan of the project available on the council’s website, with a link from its Facebook page as well.
