A former North-West footballer will be inducted into the Tasmanian Football Hall of Fame later this month.
Dale Flint, originally from east Yolla, played for Yeoman in the Darwin Football Association and Wynyard in the NWFU, where he also represented the Union six times.
He was lured South to Sandy Bay in 1960, where he played 114 games for the Seagulls, including the 1964 TFL premiership.
Flint also represented Tasmania on 10 occasions between 1961 and 1965, including being State captain in 1965.
He returned to the North-West Coast in 1968 as playing coach for Natone, retiring at the end of the 1970 season.
Flint passed away in 2023, aged 87.
The hall of fame induction ceremony will be in Hobart on February 28th.
