The State Government is promising to streamline the approval of subdivisions, to get more homes built faster.
Housing Minister and Braddon MP Felix Ellis says the changes will reduce the administrative cost and burden faced by developers and encourage more construction.
Mr Ellis says the Government is planning to repeal the Local Government Building Act to expedite the process.
