50 new IT jobs for Tasmanians
A tech company that relocated to its Australian operations to Tasmania two years ago is to double the size of its workforce.
DXC Technology is creating 50 new positions in its Hobart Enterprise Delivery Centre.
The US-based company's Tasmanian expansion is supported by a state government assistance package worth $1.4 million over four years.
Treasurer Peter Gutwein said, "Tasmania has an exceptional base of talented and skilled IT workers and the 50 jobs this partnership will create will help provide real career paths for Tasmanians who want to work in the IT field in their home state."
